Salem Pioneers Starting This Month
Information from Salem- They are also inviting anyone from Our Savior to join in as well!
“Any children in 1st through 8th grade who are interested in joining Pioneers are invited to our Pioneer Registration and Family Fun Night on Thursday, September 18 from 3:15-5pm at Salem Lutheran School 520 W. Stewart St, Owosso. Parents attend this introductory meeting with their children. We will have Snacks, Crafts, Poster Making, Outdoor Games, and Archery. The membership form and $25/student fee are due by September 25. If you have any questions, please reach out to coordinators Andy and Amanda Steiger: 989-666-4677.”
Open House for Center for Life and Hope September 20th
The Flint Pregnancy Care Center is moving from its previous building into Grace in Flint. They are hosting an open house and dedication for their new area of service on September 20th at Grace from 2-4pm. They are also rebranding to Center for Life and Hope. Pastor Helwig recently took over as Pastoral advisor for the Flint Center.
Voter’s Meeting After Church on September 21st
Topics for the Voter’s Meeting: Pew Cushion proposal, Building Committee has updates based on a meeting with Sturm Construction, including some ideas of potential costs and timelines.

Hayride and Supper September 27th
Thanks to Confers and Schabergs for hosting this event!

We will leave the Confer residence and travel via hay wagons (approximately 45-60mins) to the Schaberg residence for a bonfire, hot dogs and games. Then return to the Confer residence via hay wagons (20-30 mins).
For our friends who do not want to participate on the wagon ride, you may drive directly to the Schaberg residence at 6pm for the potluck supper .9401 Fenner rd. Laingsburg.
There will be a sign-up sheet in church.
