Announcements 9/25/25 Our Savior Lutheran Church
Voter’s Meeting Summary
· Voted “No” on getting pew cushions. Concerns were raised about the usefulness of the cushions, and the wisdom of using the money right now when there may be new building expenses in the near future.
· Building committee reported (see below)
Next Building Committee Meeting
The Building Committee will meet on October 22nd at 7pm. Remember that these are open meetings to anyone!
Building Committee Report
Some members of the building committee met with Strum Construction to get a rough estimate of what we might like to add in a building project. Based on the input from the building committee of what we may want, he estimated that we would want about 2500 square feet of new building with a cost of about $500,000. The building committee will be exploring fundraising or financing options to present to the congregation for their consideration in the future.
Midweek Evening Bible Study
The first Evening Bible study will be on October 7th at 6:30pm.
Hayride and Supper September 27th

We will leave the Confer residence and travel via hay wagons (approximately 45-60mins) to the Schaberg residence for a bonfire, hot dogs and games. Then return to the Confer residence via hay wagons (20-30 mins).
For our friends who do not want to participate on the wagon ride, you may drive directly to the Schaberg residence at 6pm for the potluck supper .9401 Fenner rd. Laingsburg.
There will be a sign-up sheet in church.
